For most people, Abu Dhabi is undiscovered. Especially for outdoor sports activities. But the truth is that Abu Dhabi has a lot to offer. As a Personal Trainer and someone who loves to be active all the time, this city is giving me a lot of options.

I will share with you a few of my favorite places in Abu Dhabi, where you can do outdoor activities that suit you. And just to remind you: winter and beautiful weather is coming, so get ready to be active and have a fun time!

1. Abu Dhabi Corniche – For the sea-lovers, this place is amazing for long walks, jogging, roller-skating on the seaside. A place where you have a nice view of nature in the middle of the modern city of Abu Dhabi. And you can always swim and make your own workout on the green surface that surrounds Corniche.

2. Umm Al Emarat Park ( MUshriff Central Park ) – My favorite place for creating and having my own workouts is this beautiful park, which is a mixture of modern art and nature. This park is a great place for yoga lovers. There is a big green surface where everyone can have their own space to do what they love.

3. The Eastern Mangroves Promenade – This place is well known for walking and jogging next to the water with an astonishing view on the mangroves. But, this place can offer a lot of water activities too, such as kayaking, paddleboarding, and boats driving between amazing mangroves. Here you can see a thousand different kinds of birds.

4. Yas Marina Circuit – House of Formula one. Biking lovers found their long open space routes here on the famous track. If you want to have great biking ride, check the schedule for the timings. They are offering only ladies evening rides and of course, mixed. So, you can choose what suits you.

5. Sport Zayed City – The biggest recreational sport center in Abu Dhabi. This place has to offer all-year-round different activities. Ice skating, tennis courts, football pitch, basketball playground, running track. Everything you can imagine. And it’s the best place for changing routine and trying new things.
